Our Story
My name is Sandy Jones and I started Scoop’s Pet Care over 16 years ago and am now joined by my daughter Rue. I am certified by the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) and bonded and insured by the Business Insurers of the Carolinas. While I learned many important things from NAPPS, my best teachers have been the animals and the people who love them. I love what I do and can’t imagine doing anything else.

The relationships that I build with the animals are the most rewarding part of my job, and especially with the kitties and dogs. Their “parents” will often tell me what to expect, but they are different when their people are away. It is my job to keep them comfortable and happy until their families return.

I’ve had the pure joy of caring for a wide variety of animals – from dogs and cats to birds, lizards, chickens, rats, guinea pigs, and so many more. Each one has left a special mark on my heart. I am excited to welcome your pets with open arms into the Scoop’s pet care family.
